Diocesan Certificate in Catechesis

This modular course over seven Saturdays in St Paul’s, Arran Quay is being offered by the Office of Mission and Ministry, starting this September..

Part One of the course explores Foundations in Catechesis with four modules:
Module One: The Vocation of the Catechist – Called to Share Faith
Module Two: Catechesis and the RCIA
Module Three: Catechesis, Method and Content
Module Four: Catechesis, Prayer and Liturgy

Part Two of the course explores Catechesis in Practice with three modules
Module Five: Accompanying Families for Baptism
Module Six: Accompanying Families for Holy Communion
Module Seven: Accompanying Families for Confirmation

On completion of the course participants will receive the Diocesan Certificate in Catechesis. Assessment will be done through journaling.
